mona was born to a rather respectable family in the utopian society. their influence was incredibly broad. however, she was an "accident". she never had to be killed or cloned to become a re-pop. her parents gladly gave her up. though, even from an early age, mona was rambunctious and quite the free-thinker. many times she was tried to put down, but, coming from such an influential family, they were afraid there would be repercussions. but when they lost mona, it was an even worse detriment to them than eliminating her.

at around seventeen, mona fled to the streets of utopia and then eventually down to the outland, where, to survive, she stole from even the poorest of individuals. she was hated, despised. however, she was quite the scoundrel and scrapper. she fought off most anyone who opposed her. but, unfortunately, that wasn't enough to defend herself from a gang who had caught wind that she was an escapee from the utopia. they trapped her and turned her into the authorities for a hefty sum of money. seeing all of the scratches and bruises painted on her body and face, they decided to put her in the ring against other escapees. being a girl, they figured she would be torn apart, but were quite surprised when she held her own. she gets a thrill from being a gladiator, honestly. mona loves the attention and the physical brutality. call her crazy, but she is the first to jump into a fray!
