to be honest, i wasn't always an outlander. i was born a utopian, but that's the problem with utopia. it's not as perfect as you think. i was born to a privileged social family. they were well known around the city, but i hated living the life of a celebrity. i was dragged everywhere with my family, but my brother didn't seem to mind to much. oh contrary, he loved being in the spotlight and having everything be handed to him on a silver platter. everything i was given was donated or tossed away to the areas outside the walls of the city. i wanted a chance to get what i wanted on my own, and when i did i loved the way i felt. it felt good to know that i could get something on my own without someone giving it to me.

by the time eighteen i was finally able to leave and go off on my own. my brother begged me not to leave. he wanted me to stay in utopia, but i had to get out of this city. i made my brother promise not to tell anyone where i was going. i know he didn't want me to leave, but i was thankful that he didn't tell my parents. they freaked of course. the story was that i had been kidnapped, and my parents began spending every resource to find me. they wouldn't find me. i would make sure of that. i sold all of my possessions and with the money i gained i started the resistance again. they were weak and low and resources, but i had what they needed. we're getting close. i can feel it. soon we'll be able to strike. just need a few more things before we can make an attack. one does not simply walk into utopia. this will be carefully planned out. i want this to be a success, not a failure.
